Printed tweed jacket

The colors and print of this jacket are very pretty and different from run-of-mill jackets. I found the fabric to be a little stiff and the cut was on the small size. I can wear my usual size, but can't wear anything bulky or with long sleeves.

I ordered this with some other jackets because of a weight loss and this one is such a keeper; the others not so much. The colors are far more subtle looking compared to the photo but you can see it has a touch of orangy rust particularly. I tried it on right away with some dressier indigo jeans and this will look so nice with a little top under it but also with so many colors and other outfits ahead. It can be dressed up or down and is a bit classy looking but not over the top that way which does not work well here in rural Alaska. But I know I am wearing something special. Please don't tell! I like this one a lot, so much--I hung it up in my closet which I usually do not do for new clothes. I let them sit for a while to try on again to check out and be sure. This one is a done deal. The fit is great, coming in a lot in the waist and a teeny bit flared at the bottom as you might see in the photo. I'm a medium and it's true to size. Gorgeous.

Took a chance based on the other reviews and I'm happy with the jacket - though it is really for winter and cold weather so worth the discounted price. Tends to be a little scratchy . Stepped up a size and will work with sweater underneath.

I really liked the jacket but the one I rec'd has to be a "reject return" because the left sleeve lining is not lined up properly. There is TOO MUCH LINING, bunches up and my hand can hold almost 2 inches of lining when I put my hand through. This has to be a RETURN REJECT because there was no "take care label" or extra buttons attached. I did give it 3 stars because it is a really nice jacket. I don't know if anyone had this problem the sleeve linings.

This jacket is beautiful to look at, a gorgeous deep green color that the photos don't do justice to, and will go with many tops and bottoms because of the print. The only issue is that it is definitely snug across the shoulders, not normally a problem for me in the size I ordered. It isn't something that could be worn with a substantial sweater-type top. I usually wear my jackets unbuttoned over silk or other light tops, so it isn't really a problem for me, but someone who buttons a jacket for a more formal look might want to think twice about sizing on this one.

What a wonderful piece of business wear-- unusual enough to stand out, but in a subtle and classic way. Wonderful fabric, with some definable texture and a color pattern that must differ from piece to piece. Takes pounds off with its simple cut. Lovely.
