Smooth doubleweave pencil skirt

excellent wardrobe basic - very slimming

I'm an hour-glass shape, 5'2'' and 130 lbs. The petite 10 fits me perfectly. I love the way it minimizes my hips and hits right at the knee. It doesn't wrinkle easily, so is good for travel. This is a great bargain at the sale price!

This skirt is very comfortable and high quality for the price. As others have said, I feel that the size runs a little small. I normally fall between size 8-10 and took the advice of others and ordered a 10. It fits well; however, if you are self conscious about a tummy pooch, it is not very forgiving because of the slim fit. I don't blame the skirt for that because that's to be expected of a pencil skirt. I love the skirt & just wish I had one in another color!

This skirt is well made and the fabric is beautiful. However, it won't fit if you're a woman with a waist. I usually wear a size XS or S in CC bottoms, but the waist on this one is at least 3 inches too big. Because of the excellent tailoring, it would be waaaaay too hard to alter. What a pity...I was really looking forward to wearing this one. Lucky I paid no shipping and there's a CC store nearby. Back it goes. :-(

Everyone needs a black pencil skirt and this one is nice. Especially at the sale price. Took off 1 star because I usually wear a CC4 in all skirts and this was too tight, recommend sizing up.

Oh yes, I second all the great reviews; excellent fit, style, and comfort. My only reason for taking off half a star is that the tan color skirt is not quite as opaque as I'd like; I'll either have to wear a slip or a long top, cardi, or jacket to cover, which won't be a problem in this season, but could be with warmer weather. No problem with the black, which at this crazy good clearance price I got as well.
I got my ususal P14 which I almost always get even though I'm not petite at 5'6", and it hits right at the top of the knee, just like in the picture.

The fit is accurate: the petite actually falls above my knees, a realm usually reserved for the non-petites among us! No pockets, no lining. Simple and good enough, especially at this sale price. I would have felt like a chump paying any more.

This is the best skirt ever! usually have difficulty with pencil skirts; this is very flattering and comfy. Would love to see in more colors; would purchase all!
