Lace trim crepe shell

I normally wear a 12. I ordered a medium and could barely get it over my head. Once it was over my head, I couldn't move. Back it went.

But it is a beautiful top. I love the purple.

I only wear mine under sweaters and jackets and it looks great peeking out underneath. I have seasalt and it is a little sheer so I have to be sure to wear a nude bra. It is just tad long for me and if they had a petite I would buy that even thought I am 5'6" and not usually a petite. I have many of this general stule from CC and this is one of my favorites. (do wish they would shorten it 1" and make it in a pure white too.) I get tons of compliments mostly because the lace showing under the jack sweater is so pretty. I think it may not look as nice worn by itself as like most of the shells CC sells they are not fitted which I like and the shape of your jacket or sweater pulls it in in all the right places. I do not wear any of my old CC cotton lace trim shells anymore as this and the other dressyier shells are much more professional looking. Also the cotton ones tend to be a little low and show cleavage which I don't want.
