I am two sizes larger in the hips than on top, and this dress did great at minimizing my hips and accentuating my top. I did wear a belt to hide the elastic waist and it looked very nice. When on sale, this dress is a great value for the price.

I'm tall and short waisted and the dress is shapeless on me. I bought the 4, and the waist is so big that I would only wear this with a belt. Material isn't terribly soft, but it falls nicely. In the end, I decided to keep it bc the price was right, and I can use a belt to alter the fit. A drawstring waist would have helped a great deal.

As others mentioned regarding the stretch waist, it did ride high but put on a belt. Got compliments on the dress so I rated it 4 star-good.

I was surprised to receive something from CC of such poor quality, fit, cheap material, and packaging! I've been a CC customer for over 10 yrs. and felt CC carried good quality merchandise; however, this is the first time that I can't return this item fast enough. The dress honestly looked like a slip and was crumbled beyond recognition in its packaging! I'm small framed and only 5'3" tall and the waste of this dress is too high for me. This dress does not represent CC well at all!

This is cute but cut a bit big. The neckline is nice but the fabric too sheer for me.

I waited for this dress to go on sale for about 3 months. Kept checking the outlet, but no luck until recently. I loved the way the dress looked in the photos -- it looked more substantial than it really is. I bought both colors, and also was disappointed when it came in the mail all wadded up in a small celophane bag. The material is beautiful, but paper thin and there is no lining to "hold" it together. The waist is very high, and rides up unmercifully without a belt to anchor it down. Because it is so thin, static electricity is a problem, even in the summer. I wore the gray dress one time, accidentally splashed water on the skirt when washing my hands, which spotted the skirt terribly. It is dry clean only. I was so disappointed, I took the pink dress back, not even taken out of the bag. Not up to Coldwater Creek standards at ALL.

I paid almost ten dollars for shipping and this dry clean only dress arrived all wadded up in a very small bag. It is a mess. I almost sent it back for that reason alone. I tried it on and the bottom fits fine, but the top is HUGE. It also does not drape properly. The material is dull, not luminous like the photo.

I bought this dress online in desperation to attend a Spring wedding. It fit perfectly and turned out to be perfect for the event. I am a bit heavy and this dress was very flattering. I bought the pink and the color was beautiful. The fabric was good quality and flowed very nicely when I moved. Very comfortable which is a priority for me.

I picked this dress up for a song in both colors at my local CWC store. Both colors are gorgeous and saturated. The quality of the silk is evident, with its sueded hand and rich texture. The fit of this dress, though, leaves a bit to be desired. The waistline is high and the elastic causes it to ride up. However, I wear this with a belt or sash around my waist anyway, so that issue is mediated a bit.
