Watermelon tourmaline ring

It is a plated metal and the plate comes right off. I never should have kept it. Looks very cheap and it wasn't. Not worth more than $5.

I had admired this ring since I first saw it in the catalog- I ordered it and promptly returned it. The stone was a muddy color and had a jagged area on one edge.Not worth the money.

As the previous reviewers stated I received a ring where the stone is largely pink with a little green around the sides. The size and shape of the ring are good. Just dissapointed at the lack of color variance. Also, since this is artsan jewelry I thought there would be more attention to these types of details, since the artist is putting their name on the piece.

It was cute at first but I think the stone is not big enough for the price.

My ring just arrived, and it will be going back. While I understand that watermelon tourmaline can vary, I did expect a stone that was not solid pink without a hint of green at all. To make matters worse, the top surface of the stone was badly scratched. First time I've had to return to Coldwater Creek - this product was not up to their usual high standards.

Beautiful, beautiful ring with a stunning surprise: a small slice of watermelon hidden in the shiny oval stone. I looked at this for months before I indulged myself, and I'm glad I did.
