Printed pintuck shell

Beautiful fit. Have received many compliments. Don't care for the jersey back, but I wear it with a jacket for work.

This shell is really cute and I wanted to like it. I got it to wear with the grey jacket with the unfinished edges and it does go with the jacket really well. However, the shell just doesn't fit right. It is very tight in the chest - bought my usual size - and the neckline in the back is really high, kind of like a raised collar. That makes the back of the neck very uncomfortable. Being tight across the chest makes the pleats not lay right. There is also a weird tie on the back which I don't understand since the shell has a plain back meant to be worn with a jacket or sweater over it. Overall, a disappointment that I have only worn once.

I ordered this in my usual size (1x) and it fit very oddly. Too big in the armhole and just not a flattering fit at all.

I usually wear a 10 or 12 so I ordered a M in this top. It is Huge! The arm holes sag and the bust and back are really baggy. Not at all flattering.
The fabric, colour & quality is lovely.
I ordered a L in a sweater and it fits a bit small, a M in a T-shirt and it fits beautifully. Then this top! Now I don't know what size to order from CC! Please standardize your sizing. This one is going back!

I luv the tie back shirts and the pintuck in the front. Very subtle print that is absolutely beautiful. It's a winner.....

I am 5'4", 114lbs and a 32A. The xtra small fits perfectly. It works well with the grey Satin Trim Cardigan. The colors in the top and cardigan are a perfect match.

I ordered this against my better judgement for two reasons: 1) the jersey back, and 2) the ties. I'm happy to say the jersey back isn't tight and form-fitting. There's a bit of room there so my (ahem) curves aren't accentuated. The silly ties are easily clipped off without leaving a noticeable stub. I remember seeing a review regarding "coffee stains" and I laughed as I was ironing it one day. Sure enough, there they were, but it's not noticeable when the shirt is on. At least I hope not. So far no one has pointed them out.

...not as good as it could be. The overall fit is good in my usual XL, but the neckline on mine wasn't sewn quite right and has a tiny pucker. The front lining is just a white polyester instead of the grey knit like the back, so it makes it a little bit sheer. Also the hem in front is uneven showing just a tad of the lining. I removed the ties; they didn't do anything for me. If I hadn't gotten this on clearance at a great price I may've sent it back, but it's not worth it, plus I do like the top, I probably just won't be wearing it a lot.

the fabric is soft, tie in the back isn't a problem when under a jacket or layered but doesn't really add anything to the look.

I bought this in Petite Medium, and it fits true to size vs. all the many other CC PM tops and jackets I've purchased. The care instructions say it should be hand-washed, but when I bought it, it was so low-priced that I figured I'd wash it just like I machine-wash all my other good clothes (cold water, with Tide Coldwater detergent, then dried on delicate), and I wouldn't care if it didn't survive. But it did survive, many times. And it's actually a very nice top. True to size, and its colors allow it to be used with a surprising lot of other clothes. Personally, I find its grey t-shirt back to be distinctive, not cheap-looking. But hey, each to her own!
