Cascade silk jacket

I don't understand the reviews where ladies are complaining this jacket is unlined - that is the best part about it! And, it clearly states it in the description. Lining only makes jackets heavier and uncomfortable to wear. In todays world where so much clothing is polyester, it is wonderful to find silk, a natural fabric, for a change! Wish CC had more of it. My regular size fits and the quality is great!! Like another reviewer, I also wish it came in black. I already have the brown and the magenta is on order.

I have this jacket in Magenta ... and it has saved my life more than once ... I can wear it dressed up or down, and it's perfect for the occasions that leave you unsure of what to wear. I wish it were available in black.

I ordered the dark brown - beautiful shade of expresso brown. However, my jacket did not come with the pretty edging that you see in the picture. Mine was just plain hemmed which didn't look as nice. Other than that, it's a plain, unlined raw silk jacket - I added a small black silk flower pin and that sort of made up for not having the nice edging. Would have returned it but it happened to work with the dress I wore.

First, I got it half price and that helps alot! But I'm not sure what people are talking about it being unshaped. If you look at the picture, it has a peplum shape (I think that is what it's called). I plan to wear a CC cami underneath and maybe a pretty brooch to close the jacket at the waist. I got the magenta color & it is beautiful 100% silk. I agree that it is more like a blouse but in the South, we can wear this year round. I went back to buy another but I don't wear brown--darn!

I ordered this jacket in Brown and then went back for the other color. Love that it is not lined. Can be worn with lots of the new CC tees. Thanks CC for a great Jacket. Love the CC clothing,jewelry, etc!!

More like a silk blouse without than a jacket. I will be returning this ASAP.

There isn't anything luxurious about this jacket. It is more like a blouse and not lined. For the price I was expecting something much nicer. I ordered it to wear to a wedding. Not suitable at all for that. I am returning it.

This is more of an open blouse than a jacket. It does not have any shape at all, is unlined and not made well for the price. I love CC, but not this "jacket". I wouldn't keep it for $100 less. Sorry CC, this is not up to your standards (except in the picture).

For the price, I was expecting something very classy. The only saving grace is the color which is very nice. This jacket not only was unflattering, but it also has no shape to it. It will be returned.
