Quality issue ruined sweater

When I first wore this sweater I LOVED everything about it. It was light-weight and looked great as a layered piece. I wore this three times (never washed) and on the fourth time realized the weave was pulling apart at the shoulders. Now I have "runs" in the weave making it tacky looking. My love affair was over. I can't recommend an item that is so "delicately" made as not to withstand normal wear.

light and flattering

I purchased this in navy. I love the light, airy, dual-textured knit. It makes a perfect spring cover-up and was not tight in the upper arm - my problem area. The only downside was that the navy fibers shed on my tank top. I saw some more fibers shed after washing. I hope it stops shedding soon because it is very flattering and I love it otherwise. Coldwater Creek, please keep bringing us washable, natural fibers like this - linen and cotton.

Sweater was just so so

I got this in the black cherry and was not especially fond of it. It is a pretty color but the style was just okay. It was not especially flattering and was something I would have just worn around the house. For me it was not a keeper. It was a nice weight and I had no problem with the sleeves. I just like more tailored pieces I guess and like items that accent the waist.

I can only talk about the black one, I haven't worn the lighter color yet, however, when I took off the black one I was covered in black lint. Not a flattering look to say the least.

....but it's still a nice sweater for outlet price. It is very lightweight as other reviewers have noted, and the sleeves definitely require rolling up. Even so, it will be a nice casual piece to add to the wardrobe for a change.

Dissapointment

This sweater would have great potential, but just has no form to it and it's very thin, almost like a knit gauze. It is just not up to the same quality standards as the usual CWC items. The sleeves need to be folded up about 2 inches to be worn comfortably and it just looks sloppy. Since it was bought on sale, I did not return it, and have found a good use for it... as a robe over PJs on chilly mornings.

I love this sweater! It is comfortable and looks great with khakis (I got the navy blue). It is lightweight enough that it's not to hot in a warm room yet still feels cozy in a cool room. I am between Medium and Large and the Medium fits perfectly.

I've been wanting this sweater, when it went on sale I snatched it up and so glad I did. IT IS NOT acrylic, which is plastic. It is 55% linen and 45% cotton which are both 100% natural and 2 of the best fibers. It is very light and flowing with an open knit. It will be great for sping and fall as well as cool summer nights. Must get the black cherry! Great job Coldwater!

Lovely look but poor quality

I absolutely love the look of this sweater and echo those that have expressed disappointment over the quality. It's a very loose acrylic knit that not only snags, but looks stretched and worn after a single wear. It's such a shame because it's one of those great finishing pieces that adds polish to just about anything. I only wish that it was made to last through more than one wearing.

Looses Shape...

I got this in 3 colors. Loved them on at first, but after a couple hours at work it loses its nice shape all over. My wrists were huge after I made the mistake of pushing them up. It looked like a robe at the end of the day from me tightening it after sitting for a couple of hours. There is no recovery in this material. So if your looking for crisp office look, dont go here. Too much give and at end of day looks baggy in places.
