I love burnout tops. I read the reviews, and bought one anyway. It does not look well buttoned, but looks nice open. I sewed down and weighted the pleats in front, and weighted the back and it looks great. the other reviewers were right that there was too much in the front to wear it buttonedas it was shipped. It washes and dries in no time and is excellent for travel

I have it in the purple and orange and love it! I have gotten lots of compliments when I where them. It is a very flowy shirt, but that is what makes this look cool. You have to wear a tank underneath. This shirt is airy and feels like you aren't wearing a jacket at all. Thanks CC!

After reading the reviews, I took a chance and purchased this blouse in purple. The fabric is truly beautiful, but it is completely sheer, so you have to wear a tank underneath. Also, there is too much fabric below the bust and it makes you look PG. Sadly I returned it.

I bought this shirt in rust, hoping I could figure out what to wear with it! I found a brown CC tank and added a pair of CC brown jeans. Voila! An outfit! I wear demi boots and feel like I'm so fashionable! Works for casual to dressy! Now I'm going to buy the brown shirt with a rust tank!

The blouse is beautiful and flattering on me. I love the color. It is dressier than I realized, but I like it. However, the burnout parts are so sheer that something has to be worn under it. I have not been able to find anything close to the same color. I may have to buy a white camisole and dye it to match. I've had the shirt a months and not worn it yet because of this dilemma.

As others said, and as I overlooked, this shirt is really not shaped at all and has to be returned. My blouse came in plastic but it happened to look very used anyway. Disapppointing for sure.

I got this in rust, and love it so much I'm now ordering it in purple. It's very flattering to a figure that's short and larger 'round the hips -- gives a nice, flowing line. I wear it over linen slacks for a casually elegant look at the office, and it would also be nice over a skirt with a belt and chunky jewelry.
