Woven trim cardigan

Was considering this jacket until I read the reviews. I don't know what happened to CC in the past year or so. The quality of their product has definitely gone down, and they're featuring much trendier fashion. I used to go thru their site and drool, now I'm hard-pressed to find anything! And a purse I got fell apart almost immediately. CC is now a disppointment, like so many other retailers......

I ordered this since I already had the shell, which I loved. This jacket, however, was rather flimsy and quite wrinkly, didn't have much body to it. I did return it but at least the shell still goes with other things.

Bought the shell and sweater and they fit well. Fabric was soft and lightweight - good even for an Alabama summer. BUT! The pretty, delicate embroidered white trim was made of a see-through linen-like fabric (different from the sweater itself) which did not keep its shape at the corners, even with the new starchiness of the the fabric. Once washed I decided this would shrink and never look good, so I reluctantly returned it.

The fabric was considerably thinner than I expected it to be, like a tissue-weight material. The fabric trim doesn't look like it will wear very well, possibly needing to be ironed after each washing.

This was lighter weight than I expected but I really love it esp. as our fall has been warmer than normal. I like how chic this looks on (I wear it with the matching top but it would look just as classy with a white shirt beneath it).
