When I first put these jeans on, I thought, wow, these are great fitting, until I had them on for the 1st hour. No way can I wear these jeans. I washed them, put them in the dryer, but that doesn't help. Can't wear them like that and now I can't send them back. Stretched out so far you can't keep them up.

these are not jeans - just light weight cotton - blue is navy not as shown on website - tight across the tummy and - not true to size - i would never order at full price - i will keep them because they were inexpensive and i will wear them to knock around in.

Okay, first I have to say that I'm not a 'normal' fit for CC simply because all of their pants run large, and I can't size down from a 4P (I exercise 6 days a week to stay that size at 41-- obesity and diabetes run in my family). But, I like these pants because they are comfortable and soft. However, I know that comfortable and soft isn't always a flattering cut, so I wear a longer top to cover the unflattering parts. Yes, I have also experienced the gathering of the fabric in the front and the unusual fit in the inseam (all of which is visible on the model in the photo), and I have found the legs to be more of a baggy fit than tapered, but overall I find these pants comfortable once they are washed and worn for a little while. To achieve a slim fit, you will need to size down.

Ordered in a P16 & the fit is great. Very comfy. Some other reviewers had problems with the fit - I've encountered the same problem with CWC sizes not always being consistent. But these pants fit & look great.

I agree with the other reviewers that no matter how you slice it, these are cut strangely, and feel like you have a lump in your crotch. Sent back.

Weird fit:
The dark blue were OK but the light tan pair are way too tight....yet both in my usual size 8. Neither flattering. Going back.

When I first received these crops and tried them on in my normal size of 16, I thought they were a smidge too tight, so sent them back for 18's. Those I could swim in, but had them taken in. When wearing, they stretch out really fast. So buy your normal size and go sit in them for a bit. Love the sunwashed colors.

I agree with another reviewer that these fit weird in the crotch, they look bunchy. The fabric is nice, decent quality for the price, but these are going back.

I was very impressed with the fabric... looks and feels rich. But the fit is just weird. It pulls across the crotch area (just like the photo, now that I'm looking at it again), and unless you're a tall girl they look like flood pants. I'm 5'4" and there probably isn't a length that's less flattering for someone my size. Caveat emptor.
