i ordered this bag after reading all the reviews. granted the opening is small but not as small as ithought. the mocha color is fantastic and the leather is soft. iordered this one onlne during your last sale and was so happy. bought the yellow one and really disappointed the color was not that nice and the leather not the same qualiti. how could 2 bags be so different in quality and workmanship..

I bought this bag in the yellow color, and it just arrived. The color is beautiful, the leather is wonderful, but the opening is too small to be of much use. I tried putting my purse organizer inside and it wouldn't even come close to fitting. Then I dumped the contents into the purse but then had to try to find different items by "feel" because it is just a dark hole inside. I asked my husband if he could alter the opening to make it larger, but he said it would completely ruin the bag. So...back it goes.

Even after reading the reviews I took a chance and ordered this handbag in blue. I just got it and what many of the reviews said about the color are true. It looks like it has been rolled around in dirt. I am really disappointed because otherwise I would really like the bag. After reading these reviews I would have expected Coldwater Creek to remove the bad ones.

I don't mind so much that the opening to this purse is small or that this purse is basically a hugh black hole - I love large purses. My complaint is that the midnight ink purse I received appears to be a reject or damaged. The leather is not grained as it appears in the photo. It is smoothe, but appears to be sunbleached and dull. I would try the neutral shoe polish as another reviewer said, but no. One side of the purse and the bottom also have numerous indentations in the leather as if something was resting against it while in storage. Good grief.

I ordered this in blue and the leather quality is soft. I hand rubbed it with neutral shoe cream and it darkened (which I like) and now has a sheen. I live in NYC and the streets get salted as soon as there is a sprinkle of snow which can be hard on open grained leather. I am used to carrying "black hole" tote bags so, although I might change the grommets from 2 on each side to 4 and enlarge the rings that attach the straps, it is only because I have the grommets and setter at home, not because this is an urgent modification. I would enjoy it in another color in the spring.

This compares nicely to the bags for much more (even at full retail) on Madison Ave where a handbag or tote can cost as much as my Manhattan rent!

Nice bag--will be a staple in my wardrobe. I can get my netbook or tablet or Kindle into it and out again. what more should I want!

I love this bag. I have it in blue, brown and yellow. Before I could make up my mind to buy the orange, it was gone. If CWC would make this wonderful bag in black, I promise to be quick with the click.

Nice leather but opening is much too small for a functioning handbag. It's priced too high for they way it is constructed. Will give to my daughter as I didn't pay full price. If the opening was bigger, it would be a great bag.

Just received this and it is one gorgeous bag - the leather is so supple and soft. I ordered the yellow, which is really a soft chamois color and goes with practically anything. Don't know what the "small opening" issue is all about - I have no problem with the opening. Love this bag!

Beautiful purse, opening too small to use on a daily basis. Leather was fantastic, color beautiful, workmanship awesome except for the tiny opening.
