Button front safari skirt

I am a skinny person, but have a larger waist line. This skirt fits beautifully. Light weight, great color. Needs light ironing is the only reason it didn't get 5 stars from me.

It was part of a large I made. When it arrived I had tried on a few other skirts that were pull ons for comfort that were not to my liking at all. I put the rest of the order aside to finish trying on later when I was in a better frame of mind. I was thinking a button skirt could not look good or be comfortable. BOY I could not have been more wrong. I am sorry I waited. I got 4 compliments the first time I wore it to work.

This is a really nice skirt but I ordered it in my usual size 10 (misses) and it was more like 12. It bunches up a bit when tightening the belt but great for wearing under sweater or jacket. Very comfortable and nice material.

I wear a 2X and am 5'5". The skirt fit well but showed my lumps & bumbs at the front due to light weight material. I would have kept the skirt to travel in but it has pocket flaps but no pockets. Pockets are essential when travelling.

This is not an A-line skirt. The bottom of the skirt is much wider than an A-line skirt. It is a skirt having a fifties style touch. As far as the fabric goes, I think that the quality is good. It is a mix of 60% cotton and 40% linen and the fabric has a linen feel. For the linen fabric, it will get softer and finer the more it is washed. Since I am not a fan of the fifties, I give it a rating of 4. If you like a vintage look, get this skirt. I do hope that CC can make more A-line skirts.

In picture this skirt looks really high quality cloth but the cotton is not that high quality. When I wore this skirt, it was so pretty. If you can ignore the quality, it is worth buying for its style and color.

This is the quality I expect from CWC. Extremely well-made, classic lines, and true to size. (Size has been a recurring problem with recent CWC purchases.) So glad I bought this, and would certainly consider buying other colors if available.

This is one of my all-time favorite skirts! It's a clasic design and beautifully made, although the belt could be a tad bit longer. It washes well and looks just like it did the first time I saw it. Liked it so much, I bought another so that I can enjoy it for a long time to come!

When I tried on this skirt I found that it wasn't an a-line style at all - it has a very full body and the material folds over, so it's not really an a-line skirt. It's also too big in the waist. I wear a 6-8, I am 5'3" 110 lbs, but this skirt was too big for me. I liked the material, and thought it was well made. It could have been an attractive skirt, it just wasn't an a-line, so I had to send it back. I was very disappointed with it.

This was exactly the style and color I have been looking for, but I am disappointed in the quality. The fabric is thin and starchy and the belt is cheap. Not what I expected from Coldwater Creek.
