it is a beautiful belt..but by the time I ordered it only sizes left were small or XL...since I'd normally wear a medium or large, I went with the small, based on everyone's comments. it's going back. wearable, but snug, and could never work as a hipslung style. It sure is beautiful tho!!!

This belt is beautiful but as everyone else says, too big. I wear a 4P at CCW and the small sits at the fullest part of my hips and looks silly sittng that low. I want to make it work but it needs to be a couple of inches shorter. Even punching another hole will not achieve that. Sadly,I think it will have to go back.

After reading the reviews, I ordered the small in black. I wear a 10 and would normally wear a medium in a belt. You would think that "hip slung" would mean ordering up in size, but not in this case, order down!!! These are sized HUGE but are really great looking if you can get the right fit.

This belt is very wide. I have a small waist and large hips, so this didn't work for me. It didn't lay right in the back. It stood up and didn't lean in against my body in the back. Hope I'm explaining it right. Beautiful gold circle and detailed stitching, but I'm returning it. I wear a size 16 pants and purchased the large. Wish a medium was available.

I'm a size 16 misses, 14w, and in Coldwater Creek I can sometimes wear a 16p. I ordered this in XL and it's HUGE. I agree with all the previous reviewers, it's gorgeous but really big. If you're a 16-18W, order the regular XL.
You won't be disappointed, it's very pretty.

This belt is absolutely gorgeous. It is well-made, very pretty, and versatile. Unfortunately, it is HUGE and literally fell off me as I walked. It's not like I'm Twiggy! I am 5'7 with a medium frame and can almost wrap this around me twice. Why so big?

I ordered this belt in size md. Too big. The belt is so pretty I immediately ordered it in small size in black and brown. Small size is perfect.
The belt fits perfect when the right size is used.
The quality of the leather and the embroidery is worth ordering. And at this price, Fantastic!

This is the first belt I have ever worn and I love it! I have it in the brown and wear it with the flute neck brown top, and I think flatters my 1X body. Plan on ordering the black one too!

Nice belts, I ordered both black and brown in size Small. Unfortunately this size is quite big, and it's not adjustable like I hoped it would. It did not fit like on the picture, way too loose around the waist. Too bad I had to send it back.
