Our Company
Coldwater Creek is a triple-channel retailer of women’s apparel, gifts, jewelry, and accessories, sold through a growing number of retail stores across the country, our ecommerce website at www.coldwatercreek.com, and our own direct-mail catalogs.

Coldwater Creek was founded in 1984 with one catalog that included 18 items. The company currently offers about 3,000 items.

Company headquarters is located on a 20-acre campus in Sandpoint, Idaho, with a customer service and tech center in nearby Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, and a state-of-the-art distribution and customer service center located in Parkersburg, W.V.

Coldwater Creek began trading on the Nasdaq on Jan. 29, 1997.

Our Customers
The Coldwater Creek customer profile is a professional woman, 35-60 years of age. She is educated, has more discretionary income than free time, and uses our retail stores as a place to get away from it all – while she shops. She also enjoys the ease and convenience of e-commerce and catalog shopping.

Approximately 60 percent of Coldwater Creek customers live east of the Mississippi River.

Our Retail Stores
We had a total of 239 full-line stores in operation at the end of fiscal 2006, and plan to add 65 new locations by the end of fiscal 2007.

Our stores capture the feel of the Coldwater Creek brand with soft woods, ambient lighting, and a merchandising strategy that promises a sense of discovery.

Our stores average 5,600 square feet, and offer the “best of the best” in Coldwater Creek apparel, jewelry, accessories, gifts and hardgoods.

Our E-commerce Site
www.coldwatercreek.com was launched in July of 1999, offering our entire line of products.

The site currently represents approximately 25% of total company sales.

Our Catalogs
Northcountry was introduced in 1985, and remains the company’s core catalog, featuring women’s apparel, jewelry, accessories and gift items. Spirit was introduced in the fall of 1993, and features a versatile line of women’s apparel, wardrobe essentials, contemporary mix-and-match separates, jewelry and accessories. Coldwater Creek was introduced in 2005, and offers a selection of the merchandise that is currently showcased in our retail stores.

Our Customer Service
Customer service associates are enrolled in an intensive, two-week customer service,computer, and product-training program.

Customer service and shipping department error rates average among the lowest in the catalog industry.

Abandoned call rates average less than one percent.

We respond to our on-line live chat “Instant Help” inquiries within an average of 10-15 seconds.
